how can i fix samsung ps42c7hdx/xeu (dtv reception issue)?

lost digital tv reception on plasma tv, cannot tune it back in and cannot even get dtv menu to come up as per instructions, cannot reset tv due to same issue!
it just refuses to work to bring menu up.
what can i do?
please help!

what does a factory reset mean? i have the same tv with the same problem. is it something i can do and if so, how?
