It all depends on how it is mounted. Usually, a Vienna clock rests on a seat where it is secured with two thumb screws on the bottom, loosen those and the movement should slide out. Some are on a hanging frame that is attached to the wood. The movement is attached to the frame with 4 tapered pins at each corner on the back plate of the movement. With that said, I do not suggest removing the movement just to polish the wood; you are taking a chance of damaging the movement.
