My Daughter has smashed the mother in laws sottini cistern lid and I need to replace it. MIL won't claim it on the insurance so I have the near impossible task of locating one. Colour peppermint!

Check with Cantankerous if she would accept white because colour units are made in limited numbers.

Explain about the cantankerous [crabby] MIL won't claim on the insurance so as you can't afford to have the whole cistern changed you are appealing to them to supply a cover only of the same colour.
