My timer on my Valiant combi voiler?

My Valiant combi bioiler has an old fashioned Randall 105 dial timer which is now broken. I can either have the heating on or off!

Can the dial timer be chaged to a modern one like you can buy in BandQ, can i do this myself and how much would it cost if not?

Thanks

Hi Adam

If the timer is a 103 you can buy a modern replacement 103e, this slots straight onto the old backplate without altering any wires.

most combi heating wiring is a live out of boiler into time clock then a live back to boiler when time clock demands so yes it should be a pretty simple swap.

generally timeswitch will have a common connection (live) and a load connection (switched live).
