How do i take the lid off my Roca push button toilet?

Do i need to unscrew the push button or do i just lift the lid

If it's like mine (plastic buttons and plate) the way to take the button front plate off is to push up on the lower edge of the faceplate to disengage the catches holding it on at the top. You can then lift the plate away at the top edge which enables you to free the catches at the bottom by lowering it down a little. Reverse procedure to replace. Sorry if yours is different to this.......

On the Roca dual flush it is not possible to unscrew the outer metal ring - I tried this morning. I have been checking the net and someone else advises that you depress the smaller button and lever out the larger one with a small screwdriver. I'm going to try doing this tonight.

Unscrew the metal ring around the push button and then pull out complete with the push button itself. This needs a little extra force so don't worry just pull straight up.
