wiring an outside light to a double light switch?

i am wiring an outside light but cant get to work. i am attaching to a double light switch & when i wire as per light switch instructions when i turn on the outside light the inside and outside lights both come on but very dim. does anyone know what i am doing wrong?

I know what you are doiung wrong.
Like the bulb you are very dim.

Get a qualified spark to sort it out.

Or ask partner to arrange your funeraL AFTER ELECTROCUTION.

If you are trying to supply a outside light direct from the light switch then it wont work as there wont be a neutral at the switch.
Household light switches normally just hace swich wires in which are all lives.
Under part P building regs you need to get a competant electrician to install.

Yes. Attempting it in the first place.

I can guess what you have done wrong and my advice is to get an electrician as what you have done may not be legal if you live in the UK and can be lethal.
