got a new sony ericsson k770i. a couple of the buttons don't work on it. Can anyone tell me how to fix it. even if i have to take it appart i'll try it!!! (as long as it don't bugga the phone up even more, that is)!!! cheers

I think its software related. My 4,6 and 0 buttons just stopped working. Turned phone off and back on and now they're fine... Getting this quite a bit with this phone -
freezing completely (had to take battery out to switch it off),
not seeing SD card - restart fixes for a week or two

I always download the latest software updates - so my guess is shoddy testing by sony programmers.

i bought a brand new one at christmas and by april the buttons on the left hand side stopped working. i sent it back to sony ericsson for repair under there fab two year warranty. they wrote back an said it was not covered by the warranty due to unauthorized engineering eh????????? no idea what that means but they obviously could fix it either, and if i now want my broken phone back i have to pay about £12 to have it returned to me ... bummer wont use sony ericsson again. sorry cani be any more help
