TRYING TO REPLACE THE OVEN DOOR ON A MILANO 60 IS A NIGHTMARE. What the hell is the bottom panel? Wished I never bought it in the first place as the pan supports slip all over the place.The oven never cooks evenly and the general summary of this cooker is that it was designed and put together by a bunch of school kids. Is this the one that has been gassing people with carbon monoxide?

The door fix:
undo the 4 retaining screws for the oven surround and the two screws for the bottom panel. A bit of leveraging with something allows the oven surround to come out about 1 inch. Retrieve the hinge back plates from the bottom where they have fallen down. Thin long fingers are best, but push the back plate back onto the inside of the surround to line up the holes, similarly line up the hinge bracket and insert screws. the top hinge is more of a mare because you have to also have the door in place. The surround metal is quite sharp and pinches, not a nice job, you'll need help to position the door on the bottom hinge at half ajar and jostle it a little when lining up the bracket, the surround and the hinge screw holes. good luck

if you having problem with the gas supply ,say you lite one ring then another and the flame goes out first thing to do is look at the shut of valve on the lid located left hand side at back of lid ive been called out to a lot of these problem and its all down to fat and grease sticky the shut of valve even had a few where the screws where lose and valve had droped down (DO NOT TRY TO REMOVE VALVE LEAVE IT DOWN TO A CORGI ENGINNER ) but just try cleaning the grease of see if that helps .
