WHAT IS CAUSING WHAT SOUNDS LIKE A GRINDING NOISE FROM MY WASHING MACHINE?

MY SAMSUNG WASHING IS 3 YEARS OLD AND HAS DEVELOPED WHAT SOUNDS LIKE A GRINDING NOISE IT MAY BE IN THE PROGRAMME PANEL NO ERROR MESSAGES ARE COMING UP ON THE PANEL

1) Check the drum for up/down and side to side movement 1/8" to a 1/4" your BEARINGS are causing the problem need replacing. If no movement move on to No 2
2) check the motor bearing (need to remove the drive belt) then spin the motor, (action should be smooth) If action is ROUGH this is causing your problem.
3) lastly check drain pump may have a part blockage but still TRYING to spin
