how do i find the filter on my hotpoint aquarius wf740?

when I have completed a load of washing, the clothes come out covered in brown bits which I think is coming from the filter. I have followed the instructions and taken the front kick plate off then have unscrewed two screws as advised but there isn't any movement to get the metal panel off. I have tried pulling and levering it but it doesn't seem to move. Am in the right area to locate the filter? or do I have the wrong instruction booklet? Any advice would be most appreciated.

Filter locations

There are 3 possible places to look, (as each machine model is made differently)
1) If machine has a square flap fitted on the front filter maybe located behind this. (No luck try next one)
2) It could be located behind the front lower kick panel (remove panel to see). (No luck it’s definitely in the last one)
3) It is located inside the sump hose, this is the big black hose that is attached to the bottom of the outer drum.

IN ALL CASES be prepared for WATER SPILLAGE old towel will be useful
