My pilot light won't stay lit?

Hi, We have an Ideal Classic FF360 boiler which was working fine until today when I noticed it was cold in the house and the boiler wasn't working. The timer is set to 'on' but there is no pilot light on. If I switch it off and on after 15 seconds it lights up and goes off again after 10 seconds.
Please can you help?
Thanks, Vicky

COULD BE ELECTRIAL PROBLEM

There isn`t as far as I recall a pilot light on these boilers, they work by flame rectification.Obviously the pcb isn`t sensing that the burner is igniting. This could be due to almost anything.

As Ben suggests get a Corgi Engineer in.

Thank you for your help!

Sounds like you need a new thermocouple , this holds open the gas valve to the pilot light, if its knackered it wont provide the charge to hold the solenoid open.. Suggest you get a corgi gas man in.. Not expensive to replace if its that..
