What radio will fit my corsa club (1999)?

I have recently brough a second hand car, with the original radio/cassette stil in place

I tried to fit a new one, but failed as it needs to be a radio with male/female connections!

Any idea what radio/cd player will fit this car please?

the typo should be "Vauxhall badged "

The chances are that your original radio is a Vauxhall baged Blaupunkt, Philips or Delco with a standard ISO Connection at the rear.
It will depend on what "Make" you fancy buying and the reason for changing the original.
If it`s only because the original is faulty, then buy one of the above names from Ebay (preferably taken from a Vauxhall ) then it should be a straight swop.
Make sure you know the MAKE+MODEL of your original and also the SECURITY CODE.

The best option is to remove the old unit and buy a replacement unit with the same dimensions and socket or plug fittings at the back.

If you already have a new unit, then visit a local Car Audio Shop and ask for the appropriate connector kit . (Halfords in the UK have quite a few on display.)Take the old and new unit with you.
These kits can sometimes quite expensive.
