blue shadowing on toshiba color stream projection tv tz50v51?

My toshiba tz50v51 began having blue double imaging, i attempted to converge it and i can only get 3,6 and 9 on the convergence numbers to come together. It is 5 years old. Do I have to shoot it?

Be sure to do the centre (static convergence) before the edge of screen (dynamic convergence).

Apart from that you would need an engineer.

There is a hidden menu with a far more sophisticated convergence adjustment that an engineer can access.
There's a chance it maybe realigned.

However, the adjustments are very critical and for that reason should only be attempted by an engineer. Which is of course why they are hidden.

Although, if it's the line is out of focus and smudgy it's likely there is a bad tube, dirty lens or contaminated coolant.
Either way it would need an engineers attention.
