Fix my Hotpoint DF53 lower wash arm?

I have a Hotpoint 1st Edition DF53P Dishwasher. The lower wash arm keeps falling off during the cycle. It does not sit properly into its housing so this may be the problem. Is it simply worth buying another arm or is there something in the seating that is not right?

I am having the exact same issue and I see what you mean it does feel like something is missing, any help would be appreciated.

I have this problem too. I get the feeling i'm missing a part, and I believe the part that is missing is the "Moulded Hub": http://www.espares.co.uk/part/dishwashers/hotpoint/df53p/p/1083/808/0/433840/490511/moulded-hub.html . Unfortunately it is £34.49, so i'm going to make sure I check that this is what's missing before I get it.
