Worscester Bosch 24i Junior, Ignitor light flashing?

I had my boiler fixed and tested last march and everything seems to be working fine with it. However this light the fault indicator light started flashing when we turned heaters and boiler on.

I have monitored the boiler over the past few days and we have heat, hot water and the temperature and pressure has not dropped.

I have noticed however the flame detection light indicator is flashing in a pattern of 3 bursts then 3-4 rapid bursts. We have a timer switch and this onl happens whenever I turn the heater on.

Through reading other posts it seems that it is possible there is a problem with the ignition and that this is triggering the fault light.

Is there anything I can do myself to check or do further tests, or do I need to call an engineer?

So do you sometimes have difficulty getting heating or hot water? I mean, does it sometimes struggle to light?

If that flame light isn't staying solidly on, yes it's an issue with flame detection - but this seems to be quite intermittent as you say you have heating and hot water.

Flame rec problems can be down to loads of things, but before you do call an engineer make certain that the flue terminal outside isn't blocked or restricted. Apart from that there's not a lot you can do - it can be an electrical fault, it can be a physical fault with the electrode or it could even be flame lift caused by problems with fan or flue.
