I have a aiwa cx-nma545 stereo there is no sound via speakers or headset?

No sound via speakers or headsets, yet the display shows their is activity. Either there is a mute button on a remote I don't have or (well that is all i can think of).

it is no doubt the first transistor in the audio you can replace it or use an external amp from output although the sound quality would be greatly diminished i would say replace the transistor in the audio to find that look where your volume connects to your circuit board see the # with an r in front of it that is the resistor for the audio the numbers are the same for all the audio the letter will change to a Q for the part you are looking for find the first q number and chances are that is what is blown and needs replaced i have not opened mine so i dont even know if the mic is a stereo or a mono input i guess ill open mine now good luck with yours

Buy a new one. Reparing would probably cost you more.
