gas oven not getting hot?

why has my gas oven suddenly stopped getting hotter than about gas mark 2? hobs are burnig fine but oven flame's almost non-existent.

Inside the oven you will see a metal rod sticking across the flame.Make sure nothing has spilled on the burner.After about 30 seconds does the main burner come up to full gas,if not it could be a faulty flame failue device.
