My boyfriend recently gave me a pearl necklace for my birthday. The pearl was held onto a frame with a small diamond on it. The pearl is held on with a post, so it has a hole in it.

I need to fix it, he'd be crushed if he found out it broke. I'm afraid to wear it now, I don't want to lose the pearl.

Not sure from your question exactly what portion of the necklace is broken, but if you take it to your local jewellers, they can usually fix most things on the same day.

Take it to a jewler and have it done properly or it will just break again.
