Please can someone get back to me with some help about my camera, it keeps saying lens cap is on, i can still record but no picture just sound, and ive just tried again today and now theres no sound when recording, no problems with rest as far as i know.

I have this model, same issue last year, phoned JVC and they were recalling them all. My was out of guarantee and they fixed it. The reason I found your query today was my camera has done the same thing again and I was looking for advice. Anyway I rang JVC just for a try and they are taking it wednesday for a repeat repair...free. This is a design fault. Give them a ring. Jane
