Chord pull light, wiring?

I am replacing the chord pull in our bathroom. The old ugly square fitting is being replaced with a new round one with an L1,L2 and com. The earth is separate on the fixing going into the ceiling. BUT I have two red and two black wires. There were no instructions with the new fitting. I think that the Reds go L1 and COM. Do the blacks, together go into L2?

Many thanks Simon

NO THEY DON'T
The two Blacks are neutrals. These wires should be joined together using a section of terminal strip. Do not insert either of these wires in any of the switch terminals.
The incoming red goes to Com. (Permanent live)
The outgoing red goes into L1 (switched live)
L2 remains unused because you do not have 2 way switching in your bathroom.
