95 Escort 1.9L timing marks?

The timing belt broke on my son's car and I will be changing it. How do I set the cam and crank timing to make sure they are correct?

all you have to do is remove the pully on the crank, to do that remove the front pasenger tire, take th plastic wheel weels down lin up the pointer with the notch cut in the block.go to the cam line up the pointer in one of the holes on the cam gear with the red dot on the head.put the belt on rotate the crank, you will have to stop it on the mark on the block after the second rotation then check the cam if the pointer is lined up with the red dot again it is in time but if it is not the belt jumped a tooth.you will have to do it again.
