i had a leek on the boiler got someone out. said it was a gasget replaced that said it should be fine. 3 dyas later a hed another leak in the top left side of the boiler, same person came out. while he was fixing the leak got water on the circuit board. when he tryed to restart the boiler itwouldn't keep going. changed board still no power.
he tryed the boards on his boiler and they work. he has since tryed changing the wiring harness and others bit and nothing works.
it has took him two days so far and i still don't have any water and heating anyone got any ideas- he hasn't. the fan just won't kick in and keep going the power is there but won't stay there. the boiler is 4years old, the board was only replaced last year.

hi
boiler now working. he replaced the safety cut out, 3 hours later the pressure went up to 3 as the heating kicked in. phoned him up and after numerous questions he has now decided that it has to be the expanding vessel as we are losing pressure and water. do you think he is right and could this of been caused by him leaking water everywhere. i would be gratrefull for any advice as it has already cost £70 and this new part is another £70 plus labour.
thanks laura

In answer to your question, with so little to go on i will try. If your boiler fires for a short time and then burner fails i would change the primary temperature sensor Baxi part number-5108265 GC-H01-719.
