how can i fix my Indesit Omega 1200 washer dryer?

The Indesit Omega 1200 washer dryer stopped in mid cycle. I managed to get the clothes out of the machine. The on/off light is now not working but the main switch is still okay. Does anyone know how to get the on/off light working again?

hi it sounds like the on off switch has burnt out to test this you will need to join both blue and brown wires.then replace the switch with a new one.
