This morning my Ford 6000 Radio CD player accepted a CD but instead of playing, the word code with four dashes after it and a 1 in the lower left hand corner appeared on the display, none of the buttons on the facia of the radio or on the steering columb now work.
Can anyone help please?

you need to enter the ford security code, very easy to do, remove the radio, u can buy a kit at halfords (looks like 2 pieces of bent wire) for £5, push them into the sides of the radio and then push them outwards, the radio will now pop out, note the serial no on the side of the unit, this will be a letter followed by 6 numbers, u can now buy the code on ebay for around 99p
