JCB 525-58 telehandler?

Does anyone know why the steering keeps going really stiff , it's as if it has lost all power assistance then it seems to get better . I wonder if there's a priority valve but i can't find one! Or maybe i should be suspecting the danfoss steering valve. The hydraulic pump seems fine as it lifts well even at tickover

Hi i opened up the hydraulic tank and found there are 3 pick up pipes obviously supplying oil to 3 pumps anyway they are fitted with strainers and these had disintegrated and bits of them became lodged in one of the pipes - having cleaned it all out ( and fitted new strainers ) it all seems to be working fine- thank you all for your help.

Hi, I have just been looking at the schematics for the steering circuit on your machine. There is not a a steer priority valve fitted to the system.
As for your fault sounds to me like your steering orbital valve is the problem. There are multiple supersessions on this part.
Hope this helps
