ravenheat csi 85t central heating keeps going off on?

ravenheat csi 85t hot water works ok but when central heating is turned on the boiler lights up for three seconds and will go off and just keeps on repeating

???? if its the ch sensor the fan will stop but pump will continue then fan will start again and process repeated throughout.

i cant see how flame rec would work for hot water but not central heating simon??????

it's definitely called something like a flame sensing device

simon, September 2008
easy one this happened to me last year it is the flame sensing device at the front of the machine(like a thermocouple but thin and square and sits with the electrode)..secured from memory by 2 screws and cost about 14 quid.

as you say it lights to full flame then goes to minimum then bursts back into flames .i only found out by phoning them myself
