this dishwasher fills up with water then stops . If you you open the door and start it again it will empty any Ideas on how to make it wash things?

Hi Nick, it sounds like the recirculation motor may be faulty,that is the next part of the programme.When you close the door and reset, you are aborting the cycle and cutting in the drain pump.The recirc motors to supply and fit are expensive, approx £160 depending on company.Hope this helps, all the best.
