I have a Sottini dual flush toilet cistern. On being flushed, water continues to run in nthe cistern after the water has reached the recommended level. How do I fix this?b

I have the same problem from time to time, in my case it is caused by a scale build up on the rubber seal and surrounding area. Remove the flush mechanism, clear away the scale build up, put it back together, job done.

is it going over the overflow
if not its by passing the dual flush rubber seal at the bottom of the flush valve.

hold the valve half way down and twist it will come apart and check the rubber seal
sometimes you can get away with cleaning them or the seal may have hardened and need changing.
