How can I fix a washing machine?

Does any one know what the problem might be with my washing machine. After I wash my clothes there is still water in the drum so the clothes are still wet. Could the pump be gone or could there be a blockage in a pipe.

I managed to fix this one. There was a sock in the filter so it was blocking the water going around and so when it had no where to go it was going back up through the overflow pipe and back into the drum thus adding to the problem.

I'm not familar with those particular washers but if the motor works and nothing draining, I would look into the drain system such as a clogged pump or drain hose.
