Worcester 28i Faulty flow switch?

Are there any simple checks i can do to find out if flow switch is causing intermittent domestic hot water shortage or is it a job for the experts,Thanks,Rob.

If you have a multimeter it's dead easy.

With a hot tap running you should get continuity between the pink wires.
