the panel does not show any information for the cd/radio. I've no idea what channel or settings its just guesswork. Also the remote or thumbwheel don't work.

Hi there if all the other info is there ie speed info ,revs ,indicators and lights , then you need to try another good working radio that is the same type and if the fault is still there then you will need to have anew panel fitted to the vehicle and have the new panel programmed to the vehicle hope this helps.
