Hi, my Candy washing machine works correctly on all wash cycles, however, when selecting the extra spin cycle the timer counts down from 7 mins but nothing happens. The timer makes a buzzing/whirring noise. Occasionally the machine will eventually complete the spin cycle but this is well after the 7minutes it used to take. Ideas?

The buzzing whirring noise is the motor in the timer moving the water canon for the dispenser drawer. The problem sounds like it could be the program timer or the program module itself faulty. Also its worth checking the pump, as machines don't like going into spin cycle if the pump is slow at emptying the machine.
