iQon computer boot problem?

Hi There

Today, I had my iQon computer (purchased about last september) give me 2 blue screens on boot. Then, after going into Windows and running a defrag, i opted to reboot again before using it. I clicked on the Start Menu, clicked the power button, and the computer turned off.

Since then, I have been able to turn on the computer, but I get no Input to my monitor. I have plugged in a different computer ot hte same monitor and it works fine.

Anyone heard of this before? Any ideas? Is it something obvious I have missed, or is the motherboard/video card fried itself?

Hi i think this a common problem with the cheap motherboards Iqon use. My parents inlaw Iqon computer has this problem. It turns out that part of the onboard graphics card has blown. You get around this problem by either putting in a seperate graphics card or replacing the motherboard with a new one. I would recommend using either a Gigabyte or Asus board as they are far superior build quality and very reliable.
