Has anybody a straightforward remedy to cure a total lockout on this machine?
Symptoms are, power light on but unable to open drawer either by remote control or by using the facia controls. Also when powering up the TV fails to grab the DVD as it should. All that is apparent is a few noise lines for a few seconds then nothing. The manual doesn't appear to cover this fault.

Martin, I had the same problem. I took the DVD back to Currys and they where good enough to replace it immediately on the spot.
