Does anyone know how to wire a Tempus 7 timer to a thorn emi m44/54 boiler. I've got the water heating but not the central heating

If you have the wiring diagram for the Tempus, it is a case of tracing/identifying each wire. Time consuming I know, and you'll need a multimeter to do it.

There isn't a short cut that I know of......
