this model is a condenser tumble dryer, when switched on the lamp indicating "empty water" is illuminated and the machgine does not work. even if their is no water in the resevoir.

Have a look in the pump container (grey plastic box, rear right. 2 screws I think then 2 clips). If theres water in here then the pump may not be lifting the water into the container (check the hose isnt blocked or kinked). If theres no water in the float area the float itself may be faulty. Check it can rise and fall and the the contacts are opperating.
