Any appliance that holds water can be prone to this , It only needs a minute amount of water or damp in the electrics to cause tracking to earth from either a live or neutral conductor, or it could be a breakdown of a internal component . Try dividing the circuitry/disconnecting different parts to try to pinpoint where the leakage is occurring
