After fitting neighbours window into my house and made every effort to get levels correct etc the window openings have dropped ,the only way we seem
to be able to shut them is by removing the window wedge that lifts window slightly prior to final closure,any help on how to resolve this would be much appreciated.

your sashes have dropped,take glass back out ot your openers,place a glass packer on the hinge side at bottom,put glass back in and place a packer in top on lock side,try opening and closing window whilst holding glass,if it catches place another packer at top lock side and try and open and close,when it opens and closes without catching fit beads and jobs done.hope this helps
