How do I adjust the flush mechanism on an MFI Siamp toilet?

When you depress the large flush, it only gives a short flush and then goes "clonk" as the valve closes. Does anyone know how to adjust this so that you get a proper flush, its driving me nuts!!!!!!!! 3 flushes everytime!!!!! Its not funny when you have kids!!!!!
