grinding noise?

I washed my child's stuffed animal and it fell apart in the wash. the washer would not drain after this and my husband was able to pull a ton of stuffing out of the tubes that drains out but now it makes a terrible grinding noise when the tub is trying to turn. I am worried that there may be something else still stuck in there. what else can I do...this machine is practically new!!

I think you are right - there probably is something else stuck in there. Get in with a flashlight and look around and see if you can pull any more of the dead toy out. Failing that call an engineer to dismantle and reassemble it.

The age of the machine does not matter - even old machines are likely to behave the same way.
