my phone got wet and now it comes up with "no network coverage" any help will be gratelly recieved

It's a long shot - it may be that when your handset got wet some of the circuits were corroded.

Try a different SIM in your handset in case that is at fault, then go to phone settings>network selection>change to 'manual', wait for it to scan the available networks and select the one you need.
