How can I fix my icemaker?

The ice cubes that are being made are hollow inside. Some are solid but most are hollow. The icemaker makes an on off grinding noise. There is water coming form the wall shut off valve so I know the problem is not there. This is an icemaker that came with the Whirlpool frig. It is three years old.

You need to check on the inside of the front cover of the Ice Maker, for a small screw mine is on the side. To adjust the amount of water being allowed into the ice tray. You can adjust the amount up or down. But adjust it a little at a time so you don't get to much water and it over flow.
