slow leak in my toilet?

Hello.....I am new to your site but I have a Mansfield toilet, that is three years old and lately the water starts to run in the tank for about 5- 10 sec and then shuts off. I don't see any apparent "leak"....but I am not sure what to look for at this point. Thank you for your help.

you may have to repalce one of the black 'o' rings...

Hello Rodney,

If you hear water coming in, the level of water in the tank may be set to high--thus overflow pipe is draining excess water---you may have water level shut-off valve set to turn off at too high of a level or water control valve is going bad and not remaining closed.
Hope this helps
