Don't know Reanult but had this on my Golf passenger and then driver side. The fix was to replace the window wind mechanism (about £47) an alloy plate with all the winding gear ready assembled. Tape up window - replace winding gear which comes without the motor and control gear - clamp in window, refit original motor, fit inner door panel.
Doubt if you will be able to buy individual components like the cable - have to go for the next higher assembly - the winding mechanism.
