DWF50 hotpoint dishwasher error lights flashing?

Ive an Hotpoint Aqurius DWf50 and the 4th and 5th error light are flashing on it. It seems little water can get through on a cycle and then it spends the rest of the time boiling the water in the bottom of the dishwasher, like a pan on boil!

I had the same problem. I turned off the water supply. unscrewed the valve that connects the water pipe to the machine. I used a small plyers to gently remove the plastic filter like basket the size of your thumb and you should be able to see a black rubber washer behind. I used a small screwdriver just to push the washer round in circels. I cleaned the basket then replaced it. It was a build up of lime scale which prevented the water getting through and it works just fine now. Happy days just saved 400euro

Wash indicator lights 4 + 5 fast + pre wash flashing rapidly =No water. most likely you have forgotten to switch the water to the dishwasher on

This is what the fault code you are giving me is,
switch off isolation switch and remove fuse or remove plug from socket

have you had a garden tap fitted to the water main for the cold water inlet pipe there is more information on the net about a garden tap being insufficient for this machine.
TURN OFF the machine isolation tap before removing the cold water inlet pipe from the tap and are the cold water inlet pipe filters free from lime scale, then connect the pipe back be careful there are rubber washers in either end these are to seal the pipe.
once pipe reconnected at both ends and sealed turn tap back on check for leaks
if leaks then turn off water isolation tap, and get a plumber in to change the filters and washers they don't cost the earth the washers can be found at local diy store
give me a update if this dont work for you
