The camera was ok, Suddenly the lcd can play back the stored pics in the memory, but the lcd does not work in taking new pics mode.

Your Canon A75 has problem of bad ccd imager sensor and this part will be replaced free of cost by Canon if you are in the USA I believe. However, if you are in the UK I don't think you'll be so lucky. Worth contacting Canon to ask but when mine went I binned the camera and bought a Panasonic DMC-FX30EB-S Digital Camera - Silver (7.2MP, 3.6 x Optical) Antishake, 2.5" LCD with a lithium-ion battery. No more short battery life now either.
