How can I fix a leak in a Sears Kenmore 90 series?

The washer leaks a high volume of water from what appears to be an overflow hose located about two thirds up the side of the drum. It's an intermittent problem that happens about one in every ten wash loads. The leak occurs when the washer finishes the wash cycle and stops before the rinse and spin. The cycle pauses for a minute then the pump is turned on. When the pump turns on the leak starts instantly.

Okay so I took it apart. That overflow hose isn't an overflow hose it's the filler for the bleech hose. It is suposed to connect to the bleech dish on top of the washer. The actual position of the hose on the tank was above the medium wash load line. It didn't leak every time because every wash wasn't a full load.
