Our Unidare R15?104 15kw storage heater has a motor fault. we have changed the starting capacitor - no luck. The motor turns slowly when energised. Swiching to boost does nothing.Any one any ideas please?

OIL the motor, my boiler in my flat slowed, then stopped, as its chirstmas I am not going to be able to catch the engineer till late feb, so I took the fan out the boiler, sprayed it with WD40 and now its going faster than it ever did before!

I HAVE REPAIRED SEVERAL OF THEASE.
IF THE FAN IS STIFF TO TURN IT IS PROBABLY DUE TO THE BEARING SEIZING.
REMOVE THE FAN (NOT AN EASY TASK) AND DISMANTLE IT YOU WILL NEED TO DRILL OUT THE RIVETS HOLDING THE SUPPORT BRACKET TOGETHER.
CLEAN THE BEARING AND REASEMBEL.
