Double glazing window will not open(The mechanism has got MIA on it )?

When you open the window with the handle the window will not open I think the lock is stuck. We have took the handle off and replaced it with another one but the window will still not open.

Your best chance is to deglaze it & try moving the sash up/down or side to side
