i have got a n reg corsa automatic ive ad it diagnosted and transmission control module needs replacing (thats the brain for the gearbox) i tried to find the brain but i dont know where it is (any ideas?) i paid £300 for the car is it worth fixing or is it gonna cost a lot?

Hi the ECU is up in the passenger footwell.
I,ve never ever had to change 1 on a corsa,had to change just about every other electric part to do with the gearbox inc the gearbox but never an ECU.
Do you know what the codes were?
A good second hand ecu is approx £100.
